He is finally out of my backyard and on his way to a city near you! He was running from some sort of alien invasion and decided that "my backyard" was a safe-zone. I knew I had to think of some way to get him out. He IS family, so I couldn't just kick him out...then it came to me! Pawn him off on someone else through an eBay auction! And thus, the Ultimate Hippie Vacation was born. We (meaning me) never thought that we would get the response that we received. Cody started to develop some kind of "cult" following. Now, he believes that he is famous...and I guess he might be. We had over 240,000 views of the auction while it was running and over 40,000 the day after it had already ended! With more than 5,000 watchers and thousands of e-mails from "fans" (that are still pouring in), we decided to start this site for All of You! I hope that we do not let you guys down! The End of the AuctionWe have had many questions about the winner of the auction.B.K. Haynes was the high bidder that won the Ultimate Hippie Vacation auction. A film is in the works by Brent Meeske a documentary filmmaker whose film, THE END OF THE ROAD, chronicled the last tour of the Grateful Dead. So, it looks like Cody is definitely going to be in a documentary, and may even get a weekly spot on some lucky network.
